Calories are energy, and each of our bodies require a different number to be healthy. Being aware of them can be helpful; being obsessed with them is not. The more we focus on calories, the more likely we are to engage in bingeing, restricting and other unhealthy habits which steal our freedom. So instead of counting calories, try making choices that respect the whole person God made you to be.
