What you’ll find here instead are resources that we’ve personally interacted with and found to be beneficial to those seeking Christ-centered care for eating and body image issues. Some of these individuals and organizations also help fund our mission, and we want you to know who they are, and how you can benefit from their services.

Based in Anderson, Indiana, Selah House offers inpatient care in an intimate setting for for women struggling with eating disorders. Stay in a beautiful, stately home while working on the issues that underlie your struggle with food. In addition to a caring, multi-disciplinary team, Selah is unique in that 50% of their staff are recovered disordered eaters, bringing a unique empathy and perspective to the therapeutic process. The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) is well recognized for its excellence in providing first-quality education and high-level training standards to an international multidisciplinary group of various healthcare treatment providers and helping professions, who treat the full spectrum of eating disorder problems. They also offer special certification to professionals specializing in eating disorders.

Encourages body acceptance. Warns overweight people not to take on disordered eating habits in order to lose weight. Some interesting viewpoints presented, not generally accepted in the medical community, but starting to gain some attention.
